Dr. John Carson is President Emeritus of Jenike & Johanson, Inc., an international engineering consulting firm specializing in the storage, flow and processing of powders and bulk solids.

John received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Ph.D. from MIT.
In 1970 joined Jenike & Johanson where he has been active in research, consulting, and management of the company.

He is the author of more than 150 articles on various topics dealing with solids flow, including bin and feeder design, flow of fine powders, design of purge vessels, and structural failures of silos.
